Scripts/ Fade In
My documentary will open with wide drone shots of Swat Valley to establish its natural beauty, before contrasting this with devastating flood footage of destroyed homes and displaced people. The narrative then shifts to a personal family’s story, highlighting the emotional toll of losing their home and belongings. This is followed by an interview with the Chairman of PRCS Swat, showing the relief efforts but also stressing the urgent need for more support. The documentary then explores the daily struggles of survivors as they rebuild their lives, while also celebrating the unity and resilience of the community in the face of disaster. The closing scene ends on a hopeful note, with visuals of rebuilding, children at play, and a sunset over the valley, symbolising strength and survival despite hardship.
