Refrences/ Inspiration

 For my documentary, I drew inspiration from several proffesional documentaries and factual programmes. I looked at how major broadcasters such as BBC, AL Jazeera, and National Geographic use real footage, interviews, narration, and statistics to make their documentaries both engaging and informative. From a creative prespective, I also studied short humanitarian films produced by NGOs such as UNICEF and WWF, which combine emotional storytelling with facts and figures. This helped me to think about how to balance the emotional impact of the floods with informative content for the audience. Overall, these refrences inspired me to adopt a style that is both factual and empathic, ensuring my documentary raises awareness while also reflecting real-world media conventions.
