 For my A2 documentary project, I have chosen to focus on the recent floods in Swat, Pakistan. The central idea is to show both devastating impact of the floods on local communities and the resilience of the people affected. I want to highlight how the disaster connects to wider issues such as climate change, infrastructure challenges, and government response. I also want the documentary to feel authentic and informative, similar to the style of broadcasters such as BBC and AL Jazeera, combining real footage, interviews, narration, and satistics. My aim is to balance emotional storytelling with factual accuracy so that the audience both feels empathy and gains knowledge.
